Ever do a tour at Pendleton? If so, remember those flocks of sheep that graze waaaay out there in the tulies? (Now y'all behave, this AIN'T going where some of yer dirty little minds are thinking!)We were doing a loooong field exercise, eating those *&#^$% c-rations (like I said, I was in the OLD Corps!), when one evening I noticed this Palestinian corporal in my platoon had gone missing. Not for long, though. Came bopping over the hill with a nice little lamby over his shoulder and a big old sheep-eatin' grin on his face. Probably would have been some serious brig time for a bunch of us, but our old CO was as tired of "ham and m***********'s" as the rest of us. Burp!
